Deaf blind American swimmer, Becca Meyers, is dropping out of the Tokyo Paralympics because the USOPC denied her rights to a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to accompany her to the games. The Japanese government put a limit on "non-essential" staff because of the coronavirus pandemic. In this case, I think that all athletics should be independent without their mothers.
