Robert Tarango works as a dishwasher in New York City, born Deaf then became blind in adulthood loves watching movies was excited that Doug Roland, the film director, chooses him to star in a short film. Robert lives with a Deaf roommate, and it's remarkable that he's very independent and uses public transportation, breaking the stereotype of the public images of being a burden on our society. Given a chance, they are like the rest of us chasing the American dream, having a decent job, a home and raising a family.
I give this film, "Feeling Through," a Thumps Up!
This is Smokey stay tuned for the next episode of Deaf Anthology, Good Night Deaf America.
