Bob Dole, himself a disabled WWII veteran always supports the Deaf during his political career. He once wrote to the Gallaudet Board of Trustee encoraging them to select a Deaf candiadate to become President of the University but was ignored. He, along with Vietnam veteran John McCain, also urges his Republican in the Senate to ratified the United Nations' Rights of People with Disabilities but was ignored. You can always count on Bob Dole to support our agendas.
