Bartholdi, a French sculptor, hires several Deaf to assist him creating the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of our democracy. Deaf French immigrants that arrives in New York are proud of their heritage. We'll celebrate our independence tomorrow with having a barbecue in our backyards, inviting our Deaf friends over and watching the fireworks. We Deaf will have a blast.
