"CODA"

When Alex met a Deaf guy, Josh, they fallen in love. Alex pretends to be Deaf, but actually she is a Coda and Josh felt betrayed when he learn the truth. They both got something in common with her being the dancer and Josh being the drummer. Is Alex ready to leave her Deaf family and follow her dreams? Is Josh willing to accept her being hearing? There are several Coda movies out there, all with different storylines. The newest kid on the block, the "CODA" film shown at the Sundance Film Festival just sold their rights to Apple after a bidding war. I've seen the popular French version, "La Famille Belier" on an  Emirates overnight flight to Milan five years ago.
