There is no sound in space, a perfect environment that suits Californian Julia Velasquez quest to become America's first Deaf astronaut. I think why not, nothing is impossible in this universe.Julia Velasquez got the experiences, interned at NASA, received her pilot's license and even spent time
at a simulated Mars habitat in Hawaii. We already broken the sound barrier so let's break down all remaining barriers that prevents us from opportunities that are now within our hands. We Deaf shouldn't be chasing our dreams, open the doors to us so that we can live up to our full-potential and become productive citizen while serving our country. Mars is the new frontier and I hope that Julia Velasquez will someday set foot on the red surface, inspires our future Deaf generations.
