The Attorney General of Florida decided not to presecute a immunocompromised Deaf elderly man accussed to shooting a man trespassing on his property. That man died during surgery at a local hospital. According to police, the victim has no weapons but the elderly man felt that his life was in danger because the man was not wearing the mask trying to approach him. This is an unusual "Stand Your Ground" case where the coronavirus is just as lethal as a bullet. The Attorney General decision came after getting a report from the coroner that the victim is asympomatic even though he has no symtoms. It's unlikely that a wrongful death lawsuit will be filed as the victim is already estranded from his family. The elderly Deaf man felt relief being forgiven. Deaf Anthology doesn't reveal his identity in order to protect his privavcy. Public records are source of our investigation into the matter.
This is Smokey stay tuned for the next episode of Deaf Anthology, Good Night Deaf America!
