Arizona

Arizona recently passed a new law to ban ethnic studies in the public schools. 

We won't be able learn about the sufferings of the slaves, discriminations against Hispanic migrants, the rights of women to vote and the oppression of the Deaf, etc. It was obviously that they were trying to deprive us from learning our culture and placement in history.

A federal judge has overturn the ban, declaring it unconstitutional.
