American School for the Deaf

The American School for the Deaf (ASD) in Connecticut are experiencing a shortages of teachers and have asked Gallaudet to cloned a few Laurent Clercs.
A Gallaudet cloning team will be in Connecticut next week to exhumed the body to collect DNA samples. Connecticut will renew Clerc's teaching certificate that expired in 1869.

Hans Spemann, Gallaudet biologist, promise that they will be ready in time when Deaf students returns to ASD in the fall.

"It's great having him, may I rephrase, having them back, I am sure that our Deaf students would love having him in every classrooms."
ASD Superintendent

"It's strange having Clerc as your teacher, coach, hall and cafeteria monitor and dormitory counselor, you just can't get enough of him."
ASD Student

"If they can clone ferrets, so why not teachers."
ASD Parents

I once fear the ghost of Clerc who roamed our halls but I'm looking forward to meeting at our upcoming homecoming football games.
