Seafills

I just can't believe that there are over 3,500 abandoned oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico that needs to be dismantled.  We got landfills, we don't need "seafills" of corrosive platforms becoming artificial coral reefs joining the graveyard of sunken pirate ships.
Life is precious and so is our planet.
We arn't listening to our environmentalists, are we waiting for another disaster before we take any action?
 If I'm a politician, I'll put a moratorium on any new off-shore drilling until the oil companies settled all previous lawsuits, adopted safety measures, complete restitution to cities, restore wildlife habitat and clear our shorelines.
