Neighbors

"They were perfect neighbors...," Alex's wife holding back tears, "...I just can't believe that my husband would..." refusing to accept further questioning from reporters at the scene. According to police sources, the suspect, Alex, shot and killed his Deaf neighbor after receiving a foreclosure notice, losing his home after being laid off from his job and debts piling up. I think Alex is jealous of paying taxes to support his Deaf neighbor who is taking advantages of the system, living off SSI, food stamps, Section 8, Medicaid, etc.. It's stressful enough trying keep the bread on the table, until his neighbor has the nerve to complain that the government isn't doing enough for us Deaf.  Despite pleas from his wife, he took out his own life.
