In the Florida panhandle, a Deaf man was charged with a felony, "claiming of losing everything during hurricane Michael," for attempting to defraud FEMA to obtain food stamps, temporary housing and financial assistance, etc. He was arrested on the spot after showing his Michigan driver's license when asked for identification.
