Deaf Scabs

I didn't invite any Deaf Scabs to our cookout as today we thanks our unions for fighting against discrimination on the workroom floors. I've seen everything during my career at the Milwaukee USPS facility  starting as a clerk on the LSM to sorting Priory Mail into their orange sacks. I joined APWU immediately after being hired and became involved as an advocate. We now have interpreters four hours daily during Tour 1&3, installing VP  and so we Deaf have access during our breaks, and CC videos during training, etc. We Deaf set up a task force to discuss various issues that concerns us while being active at our local hall, attending interpreted monthly meeting, being involved in various activities, etc. We also selected and voted on sending someone to represent  us at our national APWU Deaf  conferences. Deaf scabs don't understand the importance of our unions in our lives. It's great when there are Deaf window clerks, Deaf mail carriers and Deaf forklift mail handlers, etc. Deaf scabs are reaping the benefits at our expenses thinking that their paycheck falls off a tree..
