Deaf Anthology # 1082: "Gas"

Deafies monthly SSI checks are eaten up by the rising gas prices that affect us all, sooner or later, we wouldn't be able to go to Deaf bowling tournament, Deaf cruises, and if the economy worsen, they may be forced to cancel Deafnation Expos, due to lack of attendances. "I'm not going to Disney World," may be the new reality.
Here's the latest information:
$3.24 a gallon, national average
$3.57 a gallon, San Fransisco,California (nation's highest)
$2.83 a gallon, Albuquerque, New Mexico (nation's lowest)
I remember pumping gas, being only 35 cents, on Florida Avenue as a student at Gallaudet, before the Arab oil boycott (circa 1973), after the Yom Kippur war.
One of these days Gallaudet students will need scholarships for gas as it may be more expensive than tuition, there is now way you can confined them to campus.Perhaps Gallaudet parking meters can be the funding source.

I see Walt Disney World Orlando parks have jobs opening then why don't you apply the position then quit whine about gas prices and your small SSI benefit you get monthly.
