Americans are known for its rights to bear arms more than anything else, we can thanks the NRA, the most powerful lobbyists on the floors of Congress. Anyway, the House passed Protecting Gun Owners in Bankruptcy Act, H.R. 5827, which stated that firearms are exempted from creditors. You meant the creditors can take away your cell phones, there goes the freedom of free speech; take away your computer, there goes the freedom of the press (blogging), etc. Now the worst fears of creditors is having a double barrel of shotgun to their forehead from debtors demanding their stuff back. Ever seen homeless men carrying a shotgun down the street after their homes been foreclosed, autos repossessed, losing their livelihood.
