Driving down on Highway 75, on the way to Lake Guntersville, is this small town, Allgood, so I wondered what is so good about this town anyway. Is it a good place to live, let's check it out, been hearing all the good things about their town, no crime so they can leave their front door unlocked. No unemployment, everyone have a good job with excellent benefits. Those kids are so smart, getting good grades to enter a college of their team, and a good football team, that won the state championship. This could be better than heaven, life is so good where one win the state lottery and share it with the whole town. Restaurant food there is so good that I have to admit that it's better than my sister's Southern cooking. Everyone get along well here, that's there is no uncle and nephew feud. It's just can't be perfect, maybe I ought to move there just to stir things up. They been having nightmares for decades about people like me settling down, no wonder they treat me with suspicious, even the pastor been praying that evil will take root, to fill up the empty pews since they had it so good.
This is Smokey, stay tuned for the next episode of Deaf Anthology. Good night, Deaf America!
