Deaf Anthology # 502: "Pawn"

This Deaf went into a local Pawn Shop, hoping to sell off his CI device to pay off all his medical bills.
Owner: What is that you got there, some kind of unique refrigerator magnet.
Deaf: No, it's a cochlear-implant device, I want to sell it since it's been giving me headaches and all that.
Owner: We are not a scrap metal dealer, you are in the wrong place.
Deaf: I got medical bills, people sell their kidneys, so couldn't I pawn this item.
Owner: It has no value whatsoever (laughing), why don't you try selling it to the Ripley's "Believe It or Not," museum up the street, they have plenty of medical quackery on display there.
