Deaf Anthology # 399: "Decoy"

You got your eyes set on that car in the showroom but you can't afford it. You read in the newspapers that the local police department is cutting its budget, now is the time to be creative, why not offer them your car to be a decoy saving them the expenses of hiring new officers and ordering new squad cars. Contract out your new car out as a decoy for a set fees, just enough for a down payment, maintenance, and monthly payments for a term of three years. You get your title after your car is paid off and the sirens removed. The only condition is that one shift where the car is parked to cause motorists to reduce speed, saving lives. It's possible to get that car you set your sight on in the showroom without spending a penny of your own money, all it takes is your imagination.
