Josef Mengele, a German physician well-known for his advance medical researches was born in Bavaria on March 16, 1911, have been credited being the first to performed cochlear-implants on Deaf children that was selected at random, mostly orphans. A project was underway testing several prototype CI devices. Originally the intention was to implant transmitter where subhuman species can be guided on the battlefield on what amount to be a suicide mission such as clearing a minefield. Josef Mengele began his medical practice after being wounded on the Russian front, awarded the Black Badge. He was then assigned to a clinic at Auschwitz where he began his career. He held the rank of captain in the SS during the Nazi era. The Nazis considered Deaf children as subhuman species, therefore they qualified for the cochlear-implants research, experiments have revealed that the brain can be simulated with sounds, but the question remains whether they can be differentiated. They were fortunate to be Deaf rather than dead, they rather be fed well as subjects than starving behind in the barracks, however they have a sense of guilt not following their parents to the gas chamber. It is understandable why they refused to take showers when the Allies rescued them. The Deaf children was willing to undergo experimentation without anesthetic in order to increased their chances of surviving the war years. Few lived to sign their tales as most was injected with chloroform into their heart, the only humane treatment available. Josef learned to sign his nickname as the "Angel of Death," he is also known as the "Angel of Deaf," for allowing a few Deaf to survived the concentration camp wholesome, letting SS guards to molested the
m, in exchange for cash to purchase dwindling medical supplies. CI manufacturers still refused to admit that Josef Mengele is a pioneer that contributed to their successes in developing the modern version. One of the Deaf survivor managed to track down Josef in Brazil to forgive him, he was amazed that he and a few Gestapo learned Gestuno, as he was still conducting experiments on Deaf tribal children kidnapped from the Amazon River basin, in an unsuccessful effort to clone the Fuhrer with his DNA samples. Mengele later drowned, ending the manhunt from publishers seeking his memoirs.Revised 4/15/09
