Deaf Anthology # 240: "Birkat Hachamah"

Ever void a check. Once nothing existed, vast emptiness, void of anything, then God decided to get a big bang out of it, creating the universe, letting there be light out of darkness, giving us the sun that some of us worshipped, the source of life. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, but what about the one in the sky. The Jews have a ritual, Birkit Hachamah, recognizing the sun, reciting a prayer every 28 years when the sun is in the position where it was at the time of creation some 6,000 years ago, according to their Talmud. No comments from the evolutionists. Maybe I should think about that during a visit to the planetarium.
